Ean will be 8 years old Feb. 2012. He is an Artie/Tuesday plush, buff color, neutered male. He is micro chipped and current on vaccines. He was returned to his breeder, Mason Dixon Shilohs, because his owners are divorcing. He is good with children, but gets very excited at first. He gets along well with cats and other dogs. Ean is loving senior who is anxiously awaiting a family to call his own.

Ms. "Shiloh" has a fancy new haircut! She is a grey sable with touches of tan around her face and paws. She is a very plushy girl who has had a very poor past. She is terrified of men and kids. She is even afraid of cats. She adores women and is a velcro dog for the right woman! The first 4 years of her life was spent in a pen in the backyard. The next two years were spent in foster care. A family home full of children and males made her terribly unhappy and scared.

Wonderful news to share - Gypsy was transported by Marla Campbell to Marti Nottinghams home for a little love and care last weekend. This Saturday Gloria Setterlund picked up Gypsy and introduced her to her new family! Everything is going great with the new home including our ever tail wagging Gypsy! She loves the children and has made a friend with the other dog in the home and seems to be incredibly happy!!!! They have promised to send photos and we hope to share them with you very soon. Thank you to everyone, including those not mentioned, for all their help in relocating this wonderful Shiloh. It take a village...to raise our Shilohs!

Cori: (Jager-Lucky) 5yrs old golden sable plush female. She is house trained, great temperament, shy and can be skittish....needs TLC patience and understanding. She came to us a few months ago at approx. 65lbs. She has EPI, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency or Maldigestion Syndrome. Her family has been unable to provide her the enzymes which help her digest the food. When dogs have EPI, the proteins, starches, and fats found in their diet cannot be broken down into small enough pieces that allow them to be absorbed through the intestinal wall. The food stays in the gastrointestinal tract and is passed out in the feces undigested. Without treatment, the dog will literally starve to death even though it may eat large amounts of food.

Corali is currently being fostered by one of our wonderful breeders, Avril with Imladris Shilohs.

update: 9/10/11

Through the great love and generosity of Avril and her family who is fostering Corali, and fellow Shiloh owner Brad Blacks awesome generoisity of sponsoring Corali's enzymes for life she is gaining weight and thriving. Corali had a visit with the vet this week to receive the first in a series of B-12 shots and she weighed in at... ta da da... drum roll please... 86.7 pounds!!!!!!!! In two months she has gained around 20 pounds and gone from just barely being able to walk up two steps to bounding up four. She has made fantastic progress. On top of that she is a real sweetheart.

Corali is making great progress in gaining weight. When she first arrived she was very timid, bone thin, and had a hard time going up the stairs. Now she is on the go, has gained weight and makes sure that she has her say in day to day goings on. What a change. Cori will be ready to go to her forever home soon.

MEET EAN & TIMBER

UNAVAILABLE.....their owner is currently making arrangements with family members to adopt Ean and Timber. We wish them well. Should they become available in the future, we will be happy to relist them. Best of luck boys!!!!!

Ther owners are going through a divorce and cannot keep the dogs. They are requesting that they be kept together. They have lived together since they were puppies and are extremely attached to eachother. So much so that they cuddle up together when sleeping just like little puppies do. They are both UTD on all their shots. Their owner states they are great with other dogs, cats and children. They are extremely gentle, friendly and housebroken. They do not like T-storms.

"ANGUS" birthday June 1, 2004 7 years old
Angus: (Tella-Johann) 7yr old white plush male was bred by Miracle Shilohs. Angus is a fun boy who is house trained. He loves to play and be loved. He has a hot spot on his tail, but no known health concerns. He is being fostered in Missouri and we must keep him local. Angus has been moved around a lot lately, and needs stability and a kind owner. He walks nicely on leash and is showing to be extremely intelligent and is excelling in obedience. His original owners were an elderly couple and could no longer physically care for their dogs. Angus was recently placed in a home with an unstable pack. It was very traumatizing for him and in his best interest he must go to a home with no other pets. Time and patience will bring this boy to his fullest potential. He will make someone a wonderful companion.

Their family is in the process of losing their home and car. The husband is ill and has recently been placed in a nursing home. Though they love their Shilohs a great deal, they must be removed from their home by June 24, which is raidly approaching.

At this time, we are desperately looking for forever homes for these great dogs. We will also consider temporary foster homes as well.

Here are the details for these Shilohs:

Gypsy: (Max-Daisy) 6yrs (unconfirmed) dk brown sable plush very sweet, laid back, sensitive girl, no known health concerns, house trained. Gypsy is the shy girl of the pack. She is a very sensitive girl and seems to get her feelings hurt easily. She is content with sitting back and just watching the goings on of the world. 19mos. DAKOTA NEED A FOREVER HOME - FEMALE

UPDATE: Dakota has been adopted. She is living on the beach in Maine...a Shiloh beach babe.
Here is a short comment from her new family:
"I just wanted to share that Dakota is very happy at her new home in Maine. She has adjusted extremely well. She loves the cooler air and is very curious about everything...especially the ocean! Thank you to the wonderful Shiloh families who made this rescue possible..."

Up for adoption is 19month old Dakota. She comes from the Noble Acres breeding of Dolly - Motomo in 2009. Her owners are sadly going through a divorce and they cannot keep them. Noble Acres has asked for our assistance in helping Dakota find her a perfect loving forever home.

Dakota has been spayed. She is so sweet and gets along with kids, cats and dogs. She came from a home with another Shiloh and would love to be in a multi-dog home again. She had an injury to one of her elbows at about 4 months old and required surgery because the growth plate closed prematurely, but she's ok now - just a little crooked. She is UTD on her vaccines.

Her owner has sent us this description of her: Dakota is a great dog! She is a loving independent girl who enjoys attention, but likes to do her own thing. She is 19 months old and is about 76 pounds. She has had 2 surgeries on one of her front legs due to an injury she sustained when she was about 3 months old. The injury had caused the growth plates to close. The surgeries were successful, but she does walk a little funny and the leg is bowed. She has no known health issues.

KIERA...IN DESPERATE NEED OF A LOVING HOME

UPDATE: Kiera has found her forever home. She has a wonderful family and a 10year old little boy to call her own. She is thriving, gaining a lot of weight and falling into her new family routine. This has proven to be a match made in heaven for everyone.

Thank you to Imladris Shilohs and Blackwood Shilohs for fostering Kiera and providing all the loving care this special needs girl required. Without them success stories like this would not be possible. Also, many thanks to all those who have sent donations in Kiera's honor. Not only did we receive monetary donations, we were quite excited when we received a donation of "1 POUND" of the enzymes Kiera requires from http://www.enzymediane.com. Introducing Kiera. She is a 5yr old spayed female Shiloh Shepherd. Kiera has had a difficult time in life in her 5 short years. She has through no fault of her own been rehomed several times due to her families financial troubles. Most recently she was diagnosed with EPI, Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency or Maldigestion Syndrome. Her most recent family was unable to provide her the proper care even though they loved her very much. When dogs have EPI, the proteins, starches, and fats found in their diet cannot be broken down into small enough pieces that allow them to be absorbed through the intestinal wall. The food stays in the gastrointestinal tract and is passed out in the feces undigested. Without treatment, the dog will literally starve to death even though it may eat large amounts of food.

Kiera is being successfully treated and cared for by a loving foster family, but urgently needs a permanent home where she can relax and continue to get healthy again. She is being fed a raw diet which is optimum for a dog with EPI. Her treatment consists of Panacare Enzyme which costs about $45/month. We will provide the adoptive family with the information where they can buy Panacare at this greatly reduced rate and guide them to support groups etc. to help give Kiera the best quality of life possible.

She is a great dog who loves everyone and everything. She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along well with other dogs, both male and female and also cats!!!!

She is sure to bring a lot of love and joy to the lucky family who opens their home and hearts to this special loving girl.

Introducing DUBI!

****UPDATE...Dubi has been adopted!!!!!

Dubi is a neutered male Shiloh Shepherd that came from New York City. He is approximately 5-6 years old. Dubi's owner was unable to care for this big handsome guy and took him to a no-kill Shelter in NY. Dubi has been with his owner since he was a pup. He is well trained and very friendly. He even knows his commands in English and Hebrew. He is up to date on shots, heartworm negative, neutered and microchipped. Dubi would enjoy the company of a large breed female, but no males.

Dubi will need a strong human leader that is committed to socialization and training. Dubi will run the show if allowed. He will need an experienced handler that is committed to his socialization, training, and housebreaking. He knows his basic commands, loves to play ball and take long walks. He is best suited in a home as an only dog and he will need a fenced yard because of his established prey drive for small animals. Dubi is a very smart dog that is loyal to his handler. Dubi has never lived in a house, so this will be all new to him. Dubi will not do well with a male dog or cats. He would probably be ok with a large breed female companion, but he has never lived with another dog so he would have to be tested with another dog before an adoption was finalized. When it comes to humans, he prefers men, but he is learning that women aren't so bad, since most of his handlers right now are female. Dubi lived outside in his previous life and was rarely on a leash so he has a lot to learn about that! Dubi is a smart dog who is learning his new routine and also how to respect his handlers.

Dubi loves to take long walks and is very attentive to his handler. He is heaven to watch when he prances too! If you are an experienced Shepherd home looking to make a diamond shine, Dubi could be the one for you!
